Groupe Inspirations Voyage is located at 15 rue Gamelin, suite 600, Gatineau, Hull sector, and is the result of the merger of Voyages La Chaudière, Voyages Lorraine and Voyages Atlantis.

The Aventures Atlantis division continues to specialize in active travel. Since 2009, Jean Ricard, head of this division, has been an adventure travel specialist with over 25 years of experience hiking in high mountains such as Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Denali, Everest Base Camp, and others. He also climbed Mount Everest in 2007. In addition, he has over 35 years of experience in cycling trips. He continues to focus on developing these types of trips for his active clients.

Our philosophy for active travel.

At Atlantis Adventures, we encourage our clients to travel responsibly. We firmly believe that adventure tourism must be conducted with respect for natural environments and local communities. That’s why the principle of traveling without leaving a trace guides everything we do.

In concrete terms, this commitment begins with the choice of our partners. We work closely with local agencies in the countries where we operate, particularly in Tanzania and Nepal. These partners share our values: protecting nature, responsible waste management, limiting impact on trails, and respecting protected areas. They know the terrain, cultures, and ecosystems better than anyone else, which allows for a more sustainable and authentic approach to travel.

We also attach great importance to the working conditions of local teams. Guides, porters, drivers, and logistics staff are paid fairly, enjoy safe working conditions, and are recognized as essential contributors to the experience. Sustainable tourism is also humane tourism.

Finally, we educate our travelers about best practices: reducing waste, using resources responsibly, and respecting local populations and their traditions. Every action counts.

Traveling without leaving a trace means preserving the places we love today so that future generations can also marvel at them. It’s a choice. And it’s ours.

For example, we actively support the CMB (Clean Mountain & Better Living) program, a local initiative in the Khumbu Valley, an iconic region of Everest, aimed at reducing the environmental impact of tourism while improving the living conditions of Sherpa communities. This program focuses primarily on waste management, a major issue in a region visited by thousands of trekkers and mountaineers every year.

Close collaboration with local agencies

Over the years, we have established close collaboration with receptive agencies in many countries in order to offer you unparalleled flexibility and superior service. From South America to Nepal, via Europe, Africa, and Asia, we have organized active independent and guided group trips for individuals and groups of up to 23 people to Kilimanjaro.

By working hand in hand with local experts, we ensure authentic and personalized experiences tailored to your specific needs. These partnerships allow us to offer a wide range of services, from organizing tailor-made tours to managing logistical details, while guaranteeing the best rates and first-class support.

Nobody knows their territory better
than the local agencies we work with.
