Grand Tour of the Queyras
Located in the Queyras Regional Nature Park, this hiking trail of over 100 km circles the Queyras massif, skirting the Italian border. The route, renowned for its diversity of landscapes, passes through alpine meadows, larch forests, high passes and picturesque villages, where hikers can discover Alpine culture and traditions.
With an average altitude of 2,000 meters, the route offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks, including Mont Viso. The Tour du Queyras can be completed in around a week and is suitable for intermediate to experienced hikers. The isolation and raw beauty of this region make it an unforgettable experience for those seeking adventure and tranquillity.
The genius of the GR 58 is that it is a loop that passes through all the villages of the Queyras. Thanks to the warm welcome of the locals, you can take a breather, stock up on supplies or treat yourself to a good meal. There’s bound to be a way in (and out) of this joyful Hautes-Alpes farandole just around the corner.
In winter, snowshoeing trails are the perfect way to discover unspoilt nature and breathtaking scenery. Every day, you can explore snow-covered valleys and enjoy exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.
Accessible to all, this holiday combines effort, relaxation and wonder in an authentic setting, far from the hustle and bustle. Experience winter differently in one of the most beautiful natural parks in the Alps!
